Ingredients
- 100g pickled olives, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado
- Juice of 1 lime
- 50g pickles, diced
- 1 tablespoon honey mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon rose pepper, crushed
- 50g pickled garlic, chopped
- 100g mayonnaise
- 100g cottage cheese
- 4 slices of Faroese bread
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the ripe avocado with lime juice until smooth.
- Add the chopped pickled olives, diced pickles, honey mustard, garlic salt, crushed rose pepper, and chopped pickled garlic to the bowl. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise and cottage cheese until smooth.
- Fold the avocado and olive mixture into the mayonnaise-cottage cheese blend until well combined.
- Spread the mixture generously over the slices of Faroese bread.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra crushed rose pepper if desired.
