Ingredients

  • 300g all-purpose flour
  • 200ml warm water
  • 1 tsp dried yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 150g crème fraîche
  • 200g grated cheese (Gruyère or Emmental)
  • 100g cooked ham ( diced)
  • 100g mushrooms (sliced)
  • Herbes de Provence
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking tray or pizza stone.
  7. Spread a generous layer of crème fraîche over the base.
  8. Evenly distribute the grated cheese, diced ham, and sliced mushrooms on top.
  9. Sprinkle with Herbes de Provence and black pepper.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
  11. Slice and serve hot.
